Across this course, you’ll cultivate the clarity, presence, and skill to guide yourself and others through structured, restorative practice — walking away with a deeper understanding of how form informs function, and a toolkit for private lessons that is intelligent, adaptable, and grounded in wisdom.

Who is this training for?

  • Certified yoga teachers (any lineage)

  • Katonah Yoga students seeking a deeper dive

  • Wellness professionals looking to incorporate body-mapping, metaphor, and restorative work

  • Anyone seeking to offer transformational private sessions through structure, theory, and subtle energetics

Why Katonah Yoga?

Katonah Yoga is a syncretic practice, weaving together classical Hatha yoga, Taoist theory, geometry, metaphor, and breathwork. It teaches that form informs function, and that through measured practice, one can re-pattern old habits, restore personal agency, and orient toward joy, longevity, and imagination. By studying Katonah Yoga, you gain not just a method for movement, but a lens for understanding the body, mind, and how we show up for ourselves and others.
