Giulia’s Journey: A Life-Changing Experience with Ritual's Teacher Training
What inspired you to join this Teacher Training at Ritual?
I felt greatly inspired to learn more about Yoga after I started going to Ritual as I noticed how good and helpful the teachers are.
What was the most valuable part of the training for you?
Getting to know everyone and being able to be a part of such an amazing group of people. And learning from Rose ❤️
Did you take this course to become a teacher, for personal development, or both?
Both
If you planned to teach, how confident do you feel after completing the training?
Somewhat confident – I feel prepared but may need more practice or support.
If you took this course for personal growth, how has it impacted mindset or the way you approach your own practice?
This course has truly changed me for life. Everything I’ve learned—and continue to learn—has become a part of me in ways I never expected. I can genuinely feel how this journey has helped me grow into a version of myself that I love more deeply and feel more proud of. It’s been a transformation not just in how I practice yoga, but in how I live, think, and relate to myself and the world around me.
How would you describe your experience with the course facilitators?
Rose and Alex are truly exceptional. In fact, everyone at Ritual creates such a supportive, welcoming, and inspiring environment. I have nothing but gratitude and positive things to say about each person I encountered—they all made this experience unforgettable.
How did the course structure and teaching approach support your learning?
The course structure was incredibly intentional and well-paced, which made a huge difference in how effectively I was able to absorb the
material. Each week built on the last in a way that felt both natural and deeply supportive of my growth. The balance between theory, asana practice, teaching methodology, and self-inquiry created a holistic experience that felt aligned with the true essence of yoga.
What specific skills or techniques did you feel you improved the most?
I really deepened my ability to connect breath with movement, both in my my own practice and in how I guide others. The focus on pranayama, meditation, and the subtle body helped me develop a much more well-rounded perspective on yoga, not just as a physical practice but as a way of being. It felt like I stepped into a fuller version of myself, both on and off the mat.
Were there any breakthrough moments during the training that shifted your understanding of Barre, Yoga, or Pilates?
Yes-absolutely. One of the biggest breakthrough moments for me was when Rose spoke about how yoga is so much more than just asana. The way she explained it really landed with me on a deep level. It was like something clicked, and I realized how limited my understanding had been before. That moment opened up a whole new perspective: yoga as a lifestyle, a philosophy, and a way of moving through the world with awareness, compassion, and presence. It completely shifted how I view my practice-not just on the mat, but in everyday life.
How has this training impacted you beyond the sessions?
This training has truly shifted how I show up in my everyday life. It's helped me slow down, listen more deeply-to myself and to others—and approach life with greater mindfulness and intention. I find myself applying what l've learned in moments of stress, in how I breathe, how I move, and how I connect with the people around me.
Did you experience any unexpected benefits, insights, or challenges?
Yes-one of the most profound and unexpected challenges I faced was the loss of a family member during the training. It was one of the hardest moments of my life, and navigating such deep grief while in the midst of this journey was incredibly difficult.
What surprised me, though, was how the teachings of yoga became an anchor for me during that time. I noticed my initial instincts to react in pain and overwhelm, but instead, I was able to lean into the tools I was learning-breath, presence, compassion, and stillness. It didn't take the pain away, but it gave me space to move through it with more grace and awareness. That experience really showed me the true power of yoga beyond the mat—it helped me in a time when I needed the most.
Would you recommend this training to others? Why?
Yes! Definitely. I wish everyone could experience this even if they don't want to be a teacher.
What goals are you aiming to pursue now that you’ve completed this training?
I want to keep learning more and more and build my confidence to become a great teacher one day and be able to teach people the benefits of yoga both on and off the mat.
Do you feel inspired to continue learning, teaching, or deepening your practice?
Yes
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience?

Thank you for being not only an incredible teacher, but also a deeply inspiring human being. I'm so grateful to have learned from you.
