GET TO KNOW THE RITUAL SISTERS

Working with family is extremely rewarding and very challenging at the same time. For us it has been important to learn how to seperate work and family and take time to simply be sisters without talking about Ritual all of the time. To be honest we are still trying to work out how to find a good balance, that being said we do our best by trying to keep things in perspective and stay light with one another.

RITUALS ONLINE CLASSES

The ladies at Palmy’s Ritual Yoga & Pilates are in the process of creating an online hub for yoga and pilates classes. They also offer pilates barre classes so you can get that booty all peachy for when we’re allowed outside again.

12 REASONS LOCALS LOVE PALM BEACH

Found upstairs in a sunlit space oozing chill vibes is Ritual Yoga & Pilates. Owned by sisters Rose and Sophie, Ritual is only a couple of years old but has already become a favourite amongst both Palm Beach locals and those who reside in surrounding suburbs. The studio offers a jam-packed timetable of classes as well as specialty workshops and talks. If you’re in need of some rest and relaxation (or a solid sweat session).

INTERVIEW WITH ROSE AND SOPHIE

Rose & Sophie chat about the realities of working with your family on the daily and why yoga and Pilates are something we should all introduce to our lives.

THE URBAN LIST

THE BEST YOGA AND PILATES STUDIOS ON THE GOLD COAST

Ritual Yoga is a Pinterest board of a studio, complete with wooden floorboards, dream-catchers, and—as their website puts it—“a great living space where you can enjoy free Wi-Fi and are welcome to sit, have a cup of tea and catch up with friends.” Averaging 10 classes per day with a room set up for Pilates Barre, this could very well be our favourite thing about Palm Beach (forgive us, Barefoot Barista!)

YOGA JOURNAL

The Southern side of the Gold Coast almost feels like home. Sleepy towns dot the side of the highway after the NSW border, and not far from Coolangatta airport you’ll find some beautiful, quiet beaches like Snapper Rocks and Kirra. If you’re feeling some rainforest time, head twenty minutes west of the coast to the Currumbin rock pools and delight in this little pocket of heaven. Tallebudgera Valley is also a natural wonderland, with a wealth of yoga retreats to indulge in. Classes are supportive and inclusive and the timetable offers Yoga, Pilates, Barre and meditation.
