What inspired you to become a teacher?

My love of yoga & the opportunity to share this practice with others.

How would you describe your teacher style in three words?

Foundational, grounding, & functional.

Do you have a favourite pose, exercise or principle to teach - and why?

Breath and body connection & movement.

What does your personal practice look like outside of the studio?

Daily movement & meditation practice, studio asana practice 2 to 3 times a week.

What do you love to do when you're not teaching or practicing?

Walking or biking in nature or along the beach. Vegetarian cooking. Everything about the ocean sailing, & swimming. Bee keeping.

What's your favourite animal - and why?

No favourite, love them all.

Are you a sunrise or sunset person?

Sunrise yang energy & sunset yin energy.

What's your favourite drink?

Water

If you could have one super power what would it be and why?

Peace.

What has your practice taught you about life?

To love myself, be mindful, & be grateful & compassionate & walk lightly on our earth.
